YO making me crazy.

Finally...Blogger is back!! Yippee.

Over the last couple of days I have been yoyo-ing my little heart out. I know my picture looks a little different today than usual but that is because I have added in majority of the yoyos which I have made over the last 3 nights. Some of them are for an order but the rest are for my First Birthday Sale which is on the 10th June at 7:30pm...for those who don't know.

This morning I got down to the post office to send off my parcel of goodies to Kylie at Daylight Imagery. I am really excited to be getting these photos done and Kylies niece is just so adorable too. You can see in the top right corner a little box with some clippies in it for Kylies niece as a little thank you from me for being a model. I also put in another pic of my Maxi flower with feathers...again...I just love it so much! I even had to try it on before wrapping it up and sending it off hehe

Apart from that not much else has been happening in my bow world. I am just working on orders and on sale items. i did get my second lots of beanies in which is exciting! I love them so much, just wish I had a little head of my own to be wearing them. But there is pleeeeenty of time for that to happen...I won't be wishing too hard lol

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

When it rains, it pours!

I have been a busy little bee the last week! Everyone seems to put their orders in at the same time but I can't complain! First of all I hope that everyone had a great Easter! I know that I did but didn't eat as much chocolate as I should of, so I have heaps left over! I was sick over the Easter long weekend though which kinda sucked! I ended up having to go on antibiotics for sinusitis. Almost 2 weeks afterwards and I think it has left me for some other poor unsuspecting human being. *Fingers crossed*

I have actually been playing with a lot of new ideas over the last 2 weeks which has been refreshing and exciting. I have been playing with my bling buttons on my rannies and on my petunias. I have a pic of the purple petunia on the bottom left. This one will be off to Kylie at Daylight Imagery for her photoshoot. Hoping to have all of her items ready by the end of this week so I can post them off next week! Although I'm not expecting my shoot to be done anytime soon as Kylie has now gone fulltime with her business and is pretty packed out!

One of my customers, Tara liked the look of one of my headbands and asked if I could make it in a clip for her to put on her DDs beanie. So with a few tweaks here and there I was able to replicate it and it looks simply devine on the hot pink beanie...pictured above on the top right.

I have also been playing around with my photography 'skills' lately. I use the term skills loosely. I have seen some of the ladies on an american forum take some lovely pics of their products with funky background and though I would have a go at it. So I made myself some backgrounds and printed them off on the computer. You can see one of my pics on the bottom right. The red rannie looks pretty awesome against the black and white damask print and I have to admit that it would probably be one of the better photos I have taken LOL I have another one on my camera which I'll have to load and see if it's any good. I am thinking that before printing off the background maybe I should 'blur' it abit in photoshop first and then I'll get the required look regardless if my camera wants to focus or not. heh...Ok thats cheating.

Last but not least I hope everyone has a great Mothers Day. I am not 100% sure what is going on this year with my MD as my plans and my boyfriends mothers plans seem to have clashed a little bit. This brings me to my pic in the top left corner....those are my cool new funky kitty slipper sock/shoe type things! They were out for mothers days gifts but I couldn't pass them up and I'm glad I didn't. They are super comfy and keep my little tooties from getting cold which is a massive thing considering my feet are ALWAYS cold.

Oh also I have created an 'event' on Facebook for my big first birthday party sale! Try saying that three times quick. For anyone who wants to join in on the festivities here is the link... http://www.facebook.com/breesbowtique#!/event.php?eid=128727477203046

TTFN. Have a great weekend! xoxo

What a week!

Well what a massive week I have had!! I had work on Tuesday and Wednesday which were both really busy days, lots of people to massage. Then I come home and there sitting on the table is my parcel of beanies! I was so so excited to open them up and take a look. They were better then what I expected which was nice. So I had taken some 'average' pictures of the two sizes and uploaded them onto BB.
WOW!
I could barely keep up with how quick they were selling! I must say I was very impressed and all of my buyers were very patient with me while I was working out what stock I had left and what I could offer them. So now I have sold almost all of my Infant sized beanies and a couple of the Toddler sized one. But not only that....90% of my buyers have also put in orders for clips to put on their beanies or headbands. AMAZING! So I am going to have a very busy weekend. I am heading over to the boys house today but going to take some stuff with me to do while I am there. A pic of one of the beanies is in my pic on the bottom right corner.

So Thursday we had time to go the Craft Expo at Rosehill Racecourse. Hmmmm I would say it was ALRIGHT....but not as good as it has been when it was at Homebush. I just don't really like the layout of the stalls at Rosehill as it can be easy to miss one or two that are on the ends. Anyway apart from that I got some really nice fabric (top left corner) and actually found somewhere that sold my little resin flowers. It was in a scrapbooking stall which is logical enough but I wasn't expecting to find them! I couldn't find one packet that had all colours I liked so I had to get two (bottom left corner).

Then the craft show was also selling 'craft' related products in their shop and I have been eyeing off the mug for a couple of years now but I never really had use for one....until now. See last year I made the massive mistake of tasting hot chocolate. I'm not a 'hot' drink type of person and didn't think I would like it but I was wrong. My tastebuds responded in a positive manner and I was hooked. So generally through the colder months I will have a hot choc here and there (ok almost every night) and I thought the 'Craft Princess' mug (top right corner) was way too cute to pass up!

So last night the football started back up again. Unforunately my team didn't win but it was such a heart attack game I thought we may have had it there for a second. So today I have woken up a little bit more tired then usual and my throat is kinda hurting me but I'll slowly recover and get used to it every weekend :)

Hope everyone has a good Saturday and Sunday...then back into the slog.
